Houghton then spent the following eight years in Atlanta, GA, working within the mutual fund, insurance, and financial planning sector. She focused on building relationships with clients, brokers, and other professionals, gaining valuable experience and practical insight to serve her clients.
Since relocating, (with her husband, newborn, and dog), to Santa Barbara in 2009, Houghton has gained a wealth of knowledge about Santa Barbara, Montecito, and the surrounding areas. Her first-hand experience as a parent, now with two school-age children, and the opportunities this market has to offer is perhaps the distinction she holds most personally. Houghton’s extensive local connectivity is both deep and wide. It is here, in Santa Barbara and Montecito, that she truly feels at home and has been enthusiastic about sharing that passion with others.
